Wish you would not call it a training transition bit. This is the only bit my 16 y o TWH loves. No need to transition from this comfort bit.
Love this pad, fits perfectly under my Imus 4 Beat endurance saddle. My TWH loves it, very comfortable for both of us!
I have horses all my life and still feel like I don't know anything. I am 56 years old. My TWH Cooper died 3 years ago and I have nothing but bad luck ever since. Now i have the 5 year old MFT Little Blackie who is Mr. Sensitive Mouth. Every bit I try bothers him. Except the transition bit. Thanks
the bit is very well made and does what is is intended to do. My horse adjusted quickly to it and now loves it. The bridle I purchased from you is also well made and fits my horse perfectly. I have enjoyed all the products that I have purchased from you... the Gaits from God DVD set and the Gaited Horse bible. thanks!
Just received new bridle ,bit, saddle pad, heart pad and very anxious to get new Imus 4-beat saddle. Have read entire book and watched all videos Book was very informative. Brenda Imus must have worked very hard to include so much information. Jonna and Jamie have been so polite and helpful with our purchase. Have had my Tennessee Walker for 2 years now. Just not quite satisfied with other saddle purchases. Sonny is a great horse so we want to make sure he is not in pain and comfortable in his ride as well as both of us. He is 15 and we are his only riders now. We are so happy to find a place to talk with us about being new horse owners. We are retired and our horse brings much pleasure to us. We look forward to future talks with Jonna and Jamie
Received box on Saturday. Sunday Red had her new Imus gear (2nd Generation Imus Comfort Gait Bit and 4-Beat Trail Bridle) on as we judged the Pointing Dog Field Trial, and she took to it beautifully. 5 hours in the saddle and she was so well gathered and in control. Much improved! Thanks, Rich
This is an absolutely beautiful bridle, the pictures don't do it justice. The leather and quality are found in bridles costing twice the price - I got mine in Rich Pecan, and it's rich looking, indeed. But even beyond the quality of this and everything Phoenix Rising offers, it's the customer service that is, literally, second to none. You can shop around at innumerable online tack stores, but you will NEVER find the caring and quality of service that you get here. I give it thousands of thumbs up!
It fits, is comfortable, and she is not snappy with having her girth tightened anymore.
A friend recommended this cinch to me after my Wxxxx cinch had worn a horrible sore on my new mare and it is awesome, I couldn't be happier and I've never ordered anything and received the product so quickly. I've just ordered my third breathe easy cinch and will never use anything else again.
A friend recommended this cinch to me after my Weaver cinch had worn a horrible sore on my new mare and it is awesome, I couldn't be happier and I've never ordered anything and received the product so quickly. I've just ordered my third breathe easy cinch and will never use anything else again.
Last year I began working with a great trainer. She’s been lots of help with my riding techniques. First thing she said was "your horse is hollow backed". I wasn’t aware of this. She explained how it happens, why and how the way you sit and ride can help or make it worse. BTW - it was exactly the same thing Brenda has said in her newsletters. Anyway, I was so happy to see the Have A Heart Bridgepads. I immediately ordered one for my walking horse and have used it ever since ( I only need one of the pads in now since my horse has actually improved! ). It worked so well that I ordered another for my older fox trotter gelding and never ride without it. Thanks for a really good product.
I finally had the chance to try out the Have a Heart pad. I admit to being pleasantly surprised at how effective it is. I would never have thought that such a small pad would make that much of a difference on how the saddles fits across the shoulders. I think this is going to work out fine. Thank you for all your help and suggestions.
Very helpful & I love that it's adjustable in so many increments. Very well made
Lightening Fast Shipping, Very good quality !!!
I love it, so convenient. Beautiful soft leather. Fit my little Arab perfectly!
Excellent quality leather bridle and the function is perfect for the trail. Very sturdy leather. Shipping was fast!!!
Quality craftsmanship and soft beautiful leather. I love using the Bridle/Halter as it makes for a convenient way to stop and give you horse a rest from the bit while having the halter to tie up with. Great customer service and personal service.
The Ride N Tie is the easiest combo halter I have ever used- it's a great design.
This trail bridle makes it simple to halter and bit without ever having a horse with no head gear on. I love the ease of adding the bit when tacking up and the ease of taking the bit off for a rest on the trail. The product arrived quickly and I am extremely satisfied. I would recommend this to anyone.
I wanted to take a moment to share with you my satisfaction with your products. We have a pleasure saddle horse and spotted saddle horse whom both rode in myler bits. We purchased new Imus bits along with 4beat halter/bridles for both our guys. The difference in how both horses are now more relaxed and collected vs the myler are pretty significant. I totally recommended the gaited horse owner to purchase one. Additionally the quality of your leather and construction is superb and we are completely happy our purchase. We also board a Rocky Mountain whom we convinced the owner to purchase both the bit and the Imus 4beat saddle and tack. Witnessing the transformation of the Rocky to becoming more relaxed and collected as well as smoothing out his gaits has been really exciting. Very impressed with the quality of the saddle and its construction and the difference its design has made on his overall comfort and his gaits. Thanks be to Brenda and just wanted to share a bit of feedback for the potential buyer by saying with the Imus products you'll be doing your horse a favor. Thanks, Jeff
I bought the ride n tie halter bridle and love it! It is great quality and so much better than the halter bridles with the clips. And I received it very fast, very happy customer!
HI! I just wanted to let everyone know, since I see you post questions, that this Halter/Bridle is very very nice,I bought the Pecan/Brass halter/bridle, it is well made at first glance, and is made of thick supple leather, that looks like it will wear very nicely and last a long time with regular maintenance, time will tell. So anyone who is looking at these Halter/Bridle combo, the price is a little high but the quality is definitely there at first glance over. And with Phoenix Rising Saddles 1 year warranty against workmanship it really is a no brainer! I really think there will be no dissapointed buyers! Thanks Phoenix Rising Saddles !!
I purchased the Imus gaited bit and 4-beat saddle with accessories 2 years ago and my horse has been so happy with both! I use them for competitive trail riding and long rides in the mountains. I'm now using them on a friends' horse and that horse also seems to gait very well with the bit. I'm happy you are still in business despite the loss of Brenda. The horses say thank you!
I am so glad you are back in business. This is my favorite product and I have been using it on the trail for years. I usually buy two every other year to replace the ones that have been worn-out. These bridles adjust well, wear well, and are extremely high quality. I have two horses - one is a large-headed Arabian and the other is Peruvian Paso - cob size. This bridle can be adjusted to fit both extremes. The horses really like them as well - no rubbing, sores, etc. It is easy to remove the bit and reins and tie the horses using the halter only.
I have one of these saddle pads, it fits perfectly with my Imus saddle, which also fits like a glove, easy to clean and really like it alot, so much so that want to buy another once they get more hunter green in stock....
I purchased this pad and I love it. fits perfect under my Imus saddle. Love the higher cut wither relief as my rocky has good set of withers. Recommend buying this pad, well worth the money...
I have owned this saddle pad for over 10 years and the reason I am purchasing a new one is because the fabric is finally splitting in an area. This is a GREAT pad! The padding is still good to go and has held it's firmness . I have purchased several other made pads over the years as an extra to have on hand and they are always way to thick! This Imus pad is perfect.
I purchased this pad after a clinic with Brenda Imus at the Cal Expo in 2006. I now need two new pads and this is my choice. The padding is great, just a half-inch wear tear on the underside otherwise still used after all these years. Always using that pad before my other two trail pads. I have a Crates Gaited saddle and the pad fits it just fine! Highly recommended pad over all average Gaited pads that aren't so thick.
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your customer service and expertise through my saddle fitting adventure! The staff at Phoenix Rising Saddlery has been absolutely helpful - they go above and beyond to make sure their product works for you and your horse! I can't thank everyone at Phoenix Rising Saddles enough for helping me to fit my hard-to-fit TWH and for making a high quality product! Thanks again! Katie
I just wanted you to know that I love my new black Elite Gaited Saddle along with pad, breast collar, and new matching bridle. I am so happy I purchased the lighter saddle which provides much easier handling. My horse looks great in the tack! Everything fits well, and with the bridging pad, he gaits smoothly and comfortably. And the seat is a very comfortable ride for me, also. Very nice quality products!
Glad to write and post my review. I'm a new horse owner and the experienced horsemen at the stable were verbal, expressing that they thought it was unnecessary for me to be ordering another saddle (All my horse stuff is new.). But they immediately noted the difference in my mare with her new saddle and agreed that I should keep it. : - ) I would've keep it regardless of their comments as I feel her moving better and very importantly to me, I can feel her movement. Thank you, Diana
I really love this saddle..rode all afternoon in it yesterday. She was so relaxed..it has made for a wonderful, willing attitude for sure! I knew something was wrong with every other saddle I tried..so I will still ride bareback occasionally, but now I feel totally confident that she is comfortable in a saddle...thank you so much! And it fits me like a glove! My l long search is over! Happy happy happy! Karen and Sahar...
(Posted on Google Reviews) Excellent customer service, outstanding saddle quality! I have purchased two Imus 4-Beat saddles from Phoenix Rising in the past six months and absolutely love how they fit both my horses and me! Jonna is wonderful to work with, she goes above and beyond to offer top-notch customer service, has the patience of a saint, and is extremely knowledgable. Three of my gaited friends have tried my saddle on their horses and all three have gone on to purchase an Imus 4-Beat saddle for themselves. I ride NATRC and can hop out of this saddle after a 28 mile ride without knee or back pain, and my horses have never come up sore. I love how the tree design allows the saddle to fit all of my horses perfectly - I ride a Rocky Mountain, a TWH, and a Spotted Saddle Horse. A Brenda Imus is the only saddle I will ever use for my gaited horses again.
