I purchased the Imus gaited horse bit and trail bridle, and have been extremely pleased with the quality. My Tennessee Walker immediately began accepting the bit and lowering his head at the poll for a more relaxed, comfortable gait. The leather in the bridle and reins is high quality, and gets even softer over time with proper leather conditioning. When I had a problem with the bridle, the company contacted me immediately and arranged for replacement. The service was amazing! These products are great for both gaited and nongaited horses in my opinion. I’m now eyeing the saddle options!
Been riding with the second generation Imus Comfort Gate Bit for a couple of weeks. Then I experimented, went back to a old snaffle bit. Snaffle bit was a constant fight, head shaking, stiffness in the body. Bridled with Imus comfort gate bit again. Seen a big improvement! A relaxed mouth and body, no more head shaking, Reigning much better. Also, I bought a bridal, and reigns with the bit. They were high quality leather.
Will be buying again for my second horse.
I rode all weekend in my new trail bridle and am very pleased with it. The quality and craftsmanship are wonderful.
Chicago screws rubbed sores into both sides of my horses face. Had to take apart and reverse installation of screws so flat end was against face. This product was twice as expensive as comparable product and should not have this problem. Very disappointed!
I'm sorry to hear this! I assure you this isn't anything we've encountered before, but would have certainly made this right had you contacted us. Something was out of the normal with your bridle, and we would have sent an immediate replacement with a pre-paid return label to return the original for inspection. We didn't have the chance to make this right.
